Sara Regehr

Hi, I am Sara Regehr, I am 15 years old and have been riding since I was 3.  My first pony, Flicka, I shared with my brother Brydan. 

My next pony was Amazing Grace, and I competed in hunters, jumpers and pony club with her.  Once my brother outgrew Harrison, he got a new horse, Duke, and I started riding Harrison, again lots of jumpers and pony club. 

When I was 12, I got interested in dressage and my coach Janine Little helped coach me for the FEI Pony Level.  Last year I showed Harrison FEI Junior and did my first freestyle, which was really fun!  Harrison is my family's favourite horse, and he gets the most attention of all the horses.  I had a great show season, and was awarded the BCYR Most improved rider last year, as well as the Cadora High Scoring Freestyle award and my first rider 8 at BC Championships. 

I got a new horse last July, Dani which I am riding 5 days a week, training her up to FEI Junior level.  Janine, my coach has been helping me get ready for the show season and I declare my intent to qualify for the NAJrCH this summer.

At home, I work with our yearling, and we will be riding our 4 yr old Hobbs, and am excited about our upcoming new addition , a Warmblood pony foal due in June.
