Margaret Bowden and Drifter

Margaret Ann is 18 years old, and has just graduated from high school. She will be competing at the Junior Young Rider level this year and is excited to be on the team going to Ottawa. Next year she will be taking the show season off, to her great disappointment, due to other responsibilities of which her parents find a great importance (school). In the years following she hopes to compete at the Young Rider level, with goals of going to the NAYRC. Her current mount is an 11 year old 16.3 hh bay CSH gelding named Driftin Glen-Ali (Drifter). She purchased him when she was 14 from a local trainer. He was bred by Virginia Dearden of Maple Ridge, sired by Glenmacken, out of a thoroughbred mare.
