Kate Peiffer

My name is Kate Peiffer and I’m 16 years old, living in Victoria, B.C.  I’ve been riding since I was seven, quickly turning my attention towards dressage.  My first horse, Shoshanna, a Dutch cross mare by Amiro (G Ramiro Z), I owned for three years and brought from training level to FEI Juniors.  In December 2006, I had to sell Showy because her slight 16.0 hh stature was too small for me.  A few months later, I purchased Diplomat, a then 5 year old Westfalian gelding, imported from the PSI auction in Germany.  Mattie is 16.3 hh, and by Diamond Hit (Donnerhall/ Sandro Hit line) out of a Parademarsch mare.  Mattie is a big horse with a lot of movement, so he is a little behind on his training as it took him a while to mature, and was quite green when I bought him.  I am hoping to show him at 1^st level in 2008.  I train with Jessica Kellner at Beowulf Farms in Victoria.
