Introduced in 2006 

Perpetual & keeper trophy donated by Wendy Christoff

Any coach can nominate his or her own student or another coach’s student for this award.   The student must be a BCYR member for more than one year.  

A typed letter from the nominating coach stating how this rider has improved should include the following points: 

·       Effectiveness of rider’s aids

·       Consistent progress through the training levels

·       Improvement in the horse’s way of going and physical development

·       Attendance in clinics/lessons to improve riding skills

·       Improvement in scores within a level over a single competition season.

·       Supporting test scores must also be submitted. 

The BCYR Awards Coordinator must receive all nominations by:
