ALBRECHT HEIDEMANN DRESSAGE CLINIC 

PRESENTED BY DRESSAGE FYRST 

IN CONJUNCTION WITH

BCYR DRSSAGE PROGRAM

Pony -Children-Junior-Young Riders in B.C.

And Coaches

 

FEI JUNIOR/YOUNG RIDER CLINIC  PACIFIC AND WEST 

Clinician:  Albrecht Heidemann

 Before taking his German Trainer/Coach exams, Albrecht served his apprenticeship under Dr. Joseph Neckermann and Conrad Schumacher.  Albrecht was a member of the medal winning German Young Rider Teams.  His successes are numerous and include 8 First Place finishes, and 55 placings in the Top Three at the Advanced Level in German National Competitions.  He competes nationally at Grand Prix and in September 2001 placed a horse at Grand Prix at a C.S.I in Zurich.  In the spring of 2002, Albrecht received the National German Gold Medal for his area.  To receive this award, meant that he won 10 First Placings at Grand Prix Level. Albrecht continues to train and coach with Conrad Schumacher in Germany, as well as giving clinics in Canada and the U.S.A. 

 

DRESSAGE FYRST

This clinic is now operating under the program  DRESSAGE FYRST  The FYRST  stands for “Future Young Riders Select Training“.  The focus of the Program is to identify, encourage, train and support Junior and Young Riders to compete successfully Nationally and Internationally, with the end goal of representing Canada on the Podium

CLINIC CLOSING DATE:       ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE START OF THE CLINIC.

LOCATION:                       Ridge Meadows,                           Sansoucci Farms

                                           21955  16th Ave, Langley              16th ave, Langley

 STABLING:                      Some space available.  Out of town riders will be given

                                         Preference.  Please contact  Ann Fawcett 514-0386                              

                                          if  You Require stabling overnight or day stalls.

                                                                               

RIDER ELIGIBILTY:

ALL RIDERS MUST BE MEMBERS OF  B.C.YOUNG RIDER DRESSAGE PROGRAM

RIDERS MUST BE CURRENTLY SHOWING OR HAVE SHOWED AT LEVEL INDICATED IN THE LAST CALENDAR YEAR.

  1. Junior and Young Riders who are currently competing at the FEI Junior or Young Rider level at recognized DC shows.

  2. Young Riders who are currently competing at 2nd or 3rd  level at DC shows.

  3. Junior Young Riders who have/are competing at 2nd  level at DC shows.

  4. Members competing in the FEI Children’s or Pony Division

  5. Coaches of Riders in the above categories

 Once the clinic has placed the riders meeting the above criteria  ANY other member of BCYR who has Coach recommendation will be considered

 

 CLINIC WILL BE FILLED ON A FIRST COME-FIRST IN BASIS USING CRITERIA SET OUT ABOVE.

ABSOLUTELY NO PHONE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE TAKEN

CHEQUE MUST ACCOMPANY REGISTRATION FORM ON OR BEFORE CLOSURE DATE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED

CANCELLATION MUST BE GIVEN 48HRS PRIOR TO SCHEDULED LESSONS

 Remember, if you are in the category that needs COACH RECOMMENDATION it does not necessarily mean that you won’t get in the clinic.  Send in your registration and cheque.  If you do not get in, your cheque will be returned to you. Please note that getting your registrations in on time helps get things organized in a timely fashion.

 ATTENTION:  It is mandatory that the coaches attend in order to work with Heidemann, professional to professional, to solve problems and develop a good training program.

In addition the Coach may take one lesson on the scheduled Coaches day, preferably on the riders horse, although this is not a requirement.

RIDERS MUST:

  1. Be member of B.C. Young Rider Dressage Program

  2. Be member of Horse Council of B.C.

  3. Wear proper attire including a hard hat

  4. Sign a waiver

  5. Read and follow barn guidelines

ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OR DOGS ALLOWED ON PREMISES

CANCELLATIONS:  In order to schedule and notify riders on the waiting list we ask that should you need to cancel, PLEASE

Give 48-hrs notice (if possible)

Do not fill your scheduled lesson yourself.

NOTE that if you cancel your first lesson you also forfeit the second one.

 AUDITORS:   Welcome at a charge of $20.00 a day.  ALL AUDITORS MUST PRE REGISTER.  Thank You

 FEES:          Student    $125.00 Per lesson PLUS GST 5% 

                    Coaches   $145.00 Per lesson PLUS GST 5% 

                    Adult Amateurs $165.00 Per lesson PLUS GST 5%
